Louis E. Trepanier

Louis E. Trepanier of Middleboro died peacefully and surrounded by his family on January 15, 2017.  He was 78.

Lou was born on April 22, 1938 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, son of the late Raoul and Beatrice (Lee) Trepanier and attended North Attleboro High School. His life was very full and interesting.  He worked as an arbitrator and appraiser for collector automobiles, served as Lieutenant Commander of the Attleboro Police Department Special Police and supervised traffic control at the former Sullivan Stadium.  In addition, Lou's passions included antique cars, hosting classic car events as the disc jockey.  He is fondly remembered as "Mr. Microphone".  He was a member of the Attleboro Rod & Gun Club and the Taunton Gun Club.  Lou loved his family and that love was returned.

Beloved husband of Jacqueline A. (Hart) Trepanier.  Devoted father of Kelly and Tab Shumway of Lakeville, Jim and Lizzie McGann of Brevard, NC, Nancy and William Krieger of Cumberland, RI, Keith Trepanier of Attleboro, the late Louis Christopher and Peter Trepanier.  Loving brother of Paul, Mary Jane and Claudia.  Adored grandfather of Olivia, Ian, Sarah, Ella, Amanda, Aaron and Alec.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours on Thursday (January 19, 2017) from 4-7 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Interment will be private.
