Elizabeth Ann "Betty" (Queenan) Connolly of Middleboro died peacefully and surrounded by her family on January 14, 2018 following a brief illness. She was 80.

Betty was born on April 27, 1937 in Boyle, County Roscommon, Ireland, daughter of the late John J. and Elizabeth A. (Harte) Queenan.  She arrived in the United States in December 1956 and moved to Middleboro in 1961.  Prior to her retirement, Betty worked as a Class Aide for the Middleboro School Department.  She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Parish and a member of Our Lady's Sodality.  Betty adored her family and had many friends.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing and playing cards. 

Beloved wife of the late Paul D. Connolly.  Cherished mother of Sean D., Barry W. and Kevin J. Connolly, Dianne M. Braley and her companion, Michael Honiker.  Loving grandmother of Christopher and Lyndsey Connolly, David A. Braley, Crystal, Michaela, Alyssa and Samantha Kingree and the late Jonathan Braley.  Sister of James Queenan and Shiela Pratt.  Also survived by nieces and nephews. 

Visiting hours on Friday (January 19, 2018) from 3-6 PM. 

Funeral from the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro, Saturday (January 20, 2018) at 9 AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church at 10 AM.

Interment Saint Mary Cemetery.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
