David Lee Iddon of New Bedford passed away on December 30, 2017.  He was 81.

He was born on  February 11, 1936 in New Bedford, son of the late Henry and Hannah (Whittle) Iddon. A veteran, Dave served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. Prior to retirement, he worked as a stockroom clerk at Aerovox for over 40 years.  Dave enjoyed bicycling, trips to the casino, playing the lottery and loved his birds, especially Sonny. 

Dave is survived by his dear friend, Carol T. Souza and her wife, Lisa M. Pitta of New Bedford.  

There are no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday (January 8, 2018) at 10 AM in Our Lady of Guadalupe @ Saint James Church, 233 County Street, New Bedford.  

All are kindly invited to attend. 

Interment will follow in Rural Cemetery.
