David Francis Doyle

David Francis Doyle of Middleboro, formerly of North Reading, died peacefully in his home on March 12, 2018.  He was 74.

He was born on March 1, 1944 in Boston, son of the late Richard T. and Noreen (Walsh) Doyle.  He was a graduate of Milton High School and Northeastern University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and his MBA.  David devoted many years as a consulting engineer with Metcalf & Eddy and Camp, Dresser & McKee.  He served for 30 years in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. 

Devoted husband of Julia M. Nault.  Loving father of David F. Doyle, Jr. of Cumming, Georgia, Katelyn McConville and her husband, Luke of Milton, Emily Doyle and her partner, Oliver Sweatman of Stowe, Vermont.  Cherished grandfather of Alexandra, Ellie, Henry, Charlie and Camilla. Beloved brother of Rich, Trisha, Dennis, Terry and Christine. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.
